May 1st, Big Timber Brunch Run

The morning was bright, sunny and a bit cool when we gathered at 360 Office Supplies at 7:30. We left the lot at 8:00 with 16 Vettes and 30 people. One car joined in at Laurel and we acquired two more as we went past Columbus for a total of 19 Vettes and 36 people! Awesome turnout for the 18thinstallment of this annual brunch meeting with the Hyalite Corvette Club of Bozeman!

We stopped at the Geycliff rest area for the obligatory potty stop and continued on to Big Timber and up the Boulder River to Natural Bridge where we stopped for a while for a look around at the beautiful scenery, then back to the Grand in Big Timber for brunch.

The Hyalite Club came in a few minutes later with 9 Vettes and an unknown number of people. The street was lined on both sides with all colors and models of Corvettes, the Crazy Mountains in the background made for a spectacular sight!

The brunch at the Grand was first class as usual and conversation flowed between old and new friends alike.

The gathering slowly broke up around noon with many people drifting off to finish the day on their own. A small group of GRCC members left for Billings together and I am told had a fun, spirited drive back home.
